Michael Perez | Regional Training Director

My name is Michael Perez, Fitness Director of Parkway Athletic Club. I’ve been a trainer for over 17 years and have been working out for over 21 years.  My passion is helping empower others to develop and build positive relationships with food, fitness, and life! I come from a sports clinical background and have adapted my training style to work with any health and fitness background. I specialize in body transformation, athletic performance, and clinical rehabilitation. I have a B.S. in Exercise Science and a M.S. in Exercise Physiology. I am currently certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health Fitness Specialist and a Clinical Exercise Physiologist. My goal is to empower all my clients to see that success and growth is absolutely achievable, with the right plan, modifications, and encouragement.

Joshua Rogers | Training Director

Joshua has been a personal trainer for over 15 years. During that time, he worked as a Director for FF10 and went on to open his own Personal Training studio. While his studio was successful, he is very excited to return home to us! Joshua has extensive experience in a multitude of areas including Body Transformation, Sports Specific Conditioning, Strength Training, Youth Sports Conditioning, and much more.

Joshua’s passion for health and wellness and for helping others shows in his mastery of motivation and accountability which will have you on the fast track to your goals in record time.

With a background in sports since the age of four, I always aspired to pursue a path that would enhance not only my health but also that of others. I began my journey at FF10 Carson as an Assistant Manager and soon realized I was ready to take on more, leading me to the next step in my career. Personal Training goes beyond simply providing guidance; it’s about building a strong connection between the client and the trainer.

My goal at Fitness for 10 is to help clients rediscover themselves and regain their self-confidence. Training benefits not just your present but also sets the foundation for your future. Focusing on balance, posture, form, resistance training, and nutrition will contribute to your longevity, promoting a longer, healthier, and happier life.

Brian Sanchez | Personal Trainer

Brian has worked with clients in many realms of fitness which include Personal Training, Boot Camps, Performance Enhancement, Weight Loss, Physique Development, and Strength Development. Brian welcomes clients from all walks of life and embraces each opportunity to design lifestyle programs based on the individual’s wants, goals, and needs.

Brian started his journey in Personal Training after retiring from a career in Law Enforcement. Brian found that with life’s ups and downs, fitness and wellness go hand in hand with each person’s everyday life. Brian wants to make sure that everyone who enters our facilities not only receives committed success from their trainer but that they reach their own personal success with fitness and wellness. Brian is also a big advocate of age management programs and embraces the opportunity to assist others in finding their own age management program.

Austin Lunz | Personal  Trainer

I’m Austin, a certified personal trainer through the International Fitness Association. I’m a big believer in improving your fitness for everyday life and being able to do the activities you enjoy pain-free. I got my start playing sports in high school and fell in love with the competition and betterment it requires to be successful. That’s where working out began for me and I’ve continued learning and improving my workout knowledge ever since. Being an athlete taught me that you need to have balance in conditioning as well as strength to be optimal, and I like taking that approach to both my own as well as my client’s training. I appreciate someone who is on a journey to better themselves and achieve their goals, if that sounds like you, I’d love the opportunity to work with you.

David Wright | Lead Personal Trainer

Hello, my name is David. My passion for fitness started in 2012. After losing 75lbs but also switching to a more sedentary job, I wanted to keep that weight off, so I joined the gym. After growing to love all the new things I was learning, as well as the awesome feeling after a workout, I decided to do something I never thought I would, which was to compete in my first NPC Men’s Physique competition in 2015. Since then, I have competed 6 more times, including Men’s Physique and Classic Physique divisions, and have earned national qualification in Men’s Physique.

My passion and goal is to help others set and achieve health and fitness goals through personal, effective workouts, and encouraging a healthy lifestyle. So whether you’re new to the gym or a seasoned vet I’d love to help you develop a fitness program to help you reach your health and fitness goals.

Blayne Clayson | Certified Personal Trainer

Hi, my name is Blaine. I have been into physical fitness since I first started playing sports when I was a kid. That led to me discovering more and more active hobbies such as hiking, mountain biking, martial arts, snowboarding, and so on. Being active and fit has always been a part of my lifestyle and something I’m passionate about sharing with others.

I became an IFA trainer to learn more about the body and how to continue to grow and not just improve my quality of life but those around me. Changing habits can be very challenging, but with the right plan and support, I believe you can do incredible things. I’m genuinely excited to share the knowledge and experience I have acquired to help others achieve their goals, improve their lives, and create life-long healthy habits.

Ivan Martinez | Certified Personal Trainer

Hello! I’m Ivan, and I grew up in the beautiful Reno-Tahoe area. My journey into fitness began when I was very skinny and wanted to make a change. What started as a goal quickly transformed into a passion and a lifestyle that I am committed to improving and learning more about every day.

I earned my degree in psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2019, focusing on behavioral psychology—understanding why people behave the way they do and how we can facilitate lasting changes. In addition to training individuals, I also work with children with mental disabilities, helping them develop essential life and social skills. My educational background has led me to view fitness as a mental journey just as much, if not more, than a physical one. It would be my privilege to assist you in setting and reaching your fitness goals, creating strategies for consistency in diet and exercise, and fostering a healthier relationship with the negative thoughts and feelings that can hinder the life you aspire to live.

Gabriel Pisani | Certified Personal Trainer

Hello! I’m Gabriel, but call me Gabe. My passion for movement ignited at an early age; I began taking dance classes at three and joined the soccer field by five. Whether competing in dance or collaborating with teammates toward a common goal, I discovered immense joy in being part of a community. This joy blossomed into a profound appreciation for community and a desire to support others on their journeys. What drives me most is helping individuals show up for themselves. I firmly believe that when we uplift and celebrate each other’s growth, we evolve both personally and as a community.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, with a minor in Sports Medicine, from Minnesota State University of Mankato. One of the most transformative courses I took was titled “Exercise as Medicine.” This course illuminated the powerful link between physical health and mental well-being, reinforcing my commitment to helping others move with intention.

To me, being a personal trainer involves more than just counting reps and routines. It’s about being your ally, reigniting your motivation when it wanes, and celebrating the small victories that accumulate into significant achievements. Like many, my journey has not been a straight path, but the strength of community has consistently brought me back to what truly matters. Let’s work together to create something meaningful!

Hello everyone! I’m Misary Lagos, hailing from Honduras. Six years ago, fitness transformed my life completely. I went from weighing 76 pounds to gaining over 35 pounds, achieving a healthy weight. I’ve been part of the fitness community for three and a half years, beginning as a client. I learned boxing along the way, and now I’m certified to assist you in starting your own transformation. I truly enjoy sharing my passion for an active lifestyle. In my leisure time, I love hiking and running in nature.

I recognize how challenging it can be to begin your journey, but I assure you that every step is worthwhile. My mission is to equip you with the support and tools necessary to surpass your limits and achieve your goals. Eric Fancher | Certified Personal Trainer

Hello, I’m Eric Fancher. I moved to Nevada in 1979 and later settled in Carson City in 1988. I devoted four years of my life to serving in the United States Marine Corps. After my honorable service, I started a 26-year career as a correctional officer for the state of Nevada.

My enthusiasm for weightlifting and the fitness lifestyle ignited in 1984 when I witnessed Lee Haney’s triumph at the Mr. Olympia competition. This newfound passion inspired me to help others. Since then, my fascination with fitness has only deepened, and I have consistently pursued a healthy and active lifestyle.

Justin Benitez | Certified Personal Trainer

Hello, I’m Justin! Boxing has been an integral part of my life since childhood. My passion ignited when I witnessed the intense match between Oscar De La Hoya and Cesar Chavez; their skill and heart inspired me to enter the ring myself. With over 15 years of boxing training, including five years as a professional, I’ve had an incredible journey. However, what brings me just as much joy as competing is sharing this sport with others. I have coached at both professional and amateur levels, helping individuals enhance their skills while rebuilding their confidence. I’ve seen firsthand how discipline and perseverance can transform lives. Along the way, I also recognized the significance of strength training and conditioning, not just for athletic performance, but for overcoming personal hurdles. Now, I’m eager to share everything I’ve learned with those ready to take the next step in their fitness journey—whether it’s boxing, lifting, or simply discovering the confidence to push yourself further. I’m here to support you. No matter where you begin, you have the potential to improve, and I would love to be part of that journey with you.

Vanessa Torres | Certified Personal Trainer

Hello, my name is Vanessa. My relationship with fitness stems from years of team or individual competitive sports. I started off doing gymnastics from the time that I could walk and then pivoted to soccer, volleyball, and swimming. My passion for athletics grew as I created lifelong bonds with teammates and saw growth in myself and in us as a team.

I earned my Bachelor’s in Journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno, with minors in Business Administration and Graphic Design. Through my college career, I prioritized movement and found a deep passion for yoga and Pilates, not only to remain active but to calm my busy mind. Yoga and Pilates taught me that the mind-to-muscle connection in everything we do is incredibly valuable for long-term success.

As a certified personal trainer, my goal is to ignite a passion for movement in everyone that I am lucky enough to work with. Together, we will grow in confidence and strength to be a better version of ourselves one day at a time.
