Parkway Aquatics Swim Meet 2026

Welcome all to Parkway Athletic Club’s swim meet! We are so excited to see our swimmers showcase the skills they have been practicing during their swim lessons. This event is open to all youth aquatics swimmers, including both group and private lesson participants.

Registration opens June 8th and closes July 17th to allow swimmers time to prepare for their selected events.

FAQ

The PAC Swim Meet is being held at our South Reno Location:  9400 Double Diamond Pkwy, Reno, NV 89521

All youth aquatics swimmers enrolled in either group or private swim lessons are welcome to participate.

We encourage each swimmer to participate in a minimum of two events.

At this time, there is no maximum number of events; however, please keep in mind that swimmers may become tired if they participate in too many events throughout the meet.

We want to make sure every swimmer has the opportunity to participate.

  • Check-in for level 1 swimmers will open at 9am, with events for level 1 beginning at approximately 9:15 am
  • To help keep the meet organized and running smoothly, swimmers will compete in grouped level blocks throughout the morning
  • Tentative Meet Schedule
    • 9:15 am-Level 1 swimmers
      • Our youngest swimmers will begin the meet first
    • Following Level 1-Level 2 Swimmers
    • Following Level 2-Level 3 Swimmers
    • Late Morning-Level 4/ Level 5/ Pre-team swimmers
      • These swimmers will compete in a combined event block later in the meet.
    • Please note that swim meets can occasionally run ahead of or behind schedule depending on event timing and participation numbers. We recommend arriving early and staying attentive to announcements throughout the meet.
    • A more detailed event timeline may be shared closer to the meet date once registration numbers are finalized.

Required/Recommended Items:

  • Swim Suit
  • Goggles
  • Towel
  • Change of Clothes
  • Water bottle
  • Snacks

Optional Items:

  • Swim Cap
  • Hat
  • Sunscreen

Please Note:

  • Food will be provided for swimmers during the meet
  • Towels are available at the facility, but quantities may be limited
  • The outdoor patio area has limited shade, so sunscreen, hats, and hydration are strongly encouraged.

This meet is designed to be a fun and positive introduction to swim meets for many of our swimmers.

Here are a few ways to help your swimmer feel prepared:

  • Attend regular swim lessons leading up to the meet
  • Encourage good sleep, hydration, and nutrition
  • Help them arrive with a positive mindset
  • Cheer them on and celebrate their effort and progress

Our swimmers have worked incredibly hard during lessons, and this event is an opportunity for them to build confidence, have fun, and show off the skills they have been practicing.

Yes!  Every swimmer will get a goodie bag at check-in.  Ribbons will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each event

Absolutely! We are excited to have families cheering on our swimmers.

Please Note:  Seating on the pool deck is limited.  Additional seating and viewing areas are available outside on the patio. If your swimmer is not currently competing, we ask that families avoid standing on the pool deck so swimmers can prepare for their events and spectators can comfortably watch the meet.
